ILETA: Research Project: Survey for lawyers, paralegals, students and other professionals

Dear Colleagues,

ILETA is dedicated to researching and identifying emerging trends in the field of Legal English.

Our aim is to explore how the language of law evolves, focusing on the challenges and advancements within legal writing, communication, and interpretation across different legal systems.

By conducting in-depth studies and gathering insights from legal professionals worldwide, ILETA will strive to provide a comprehensive understanding of the current trends in Legal English.

Our research aims to not only identify critical developments but also support the creation of effective training programs to better equip legal practitioners with the necessary linguistic skills to excel in an increasingly globalized legal environment.

ILETA is also committed to providing legal English practitioners and educators with information concerning the nature of skills needed in legal industry, the key needs of stakeholders, and industry trends.

We are conducting a survey to better understand the current landscape of legal writing and communication skills, and we would greatly appreciate your input.

Your feedback will help us identify key areas of strength and opportunities for improvement within the legal and the legal English training sector.

Whether you are a seasoned legal professional, a young lawyer or a student, your insights and feedback are invaluable to us.

I would like to invite you, to please take a few moments to share your experiences and perspectives by completing our survey.
