ILETA-Legal English Conference 2024 – 6, 7, 8 September 2024 – Hybrid Event

We are proud to announce the ILETA Hybrid Conference 2024 to be held online and in person from 6 September to 8 September 2024. The title of the Conference is Legal English Skills, Law and Language in the AI Era.
We are excited to host this Conference in Bologna – home of the oldest University and Law Faculty in Europe.
ILETA’s Membership already includes professionals working in many different facets of Legal English. Members include lawyers, university lecturers, legal linguists, legal translators, legal interpreters, authors, judges, professional trainers and new Legal English teachers.
Our events are reknowned for bringing together leading professionals who share practical, innovative and diverse approaches to working and teaching in the Legal English industry.
We welcome topics, including but not limited to, legal English skills, law and language taking into account the impact of artificial intelligence. Papers are welcome on the topics such as legal drafting, legal translations, teaching legal English, and other skills combined with AI technology.
Presentations should be practical and interactive. Presentations should be a maximum of 45 minutes comprising of 30 minute presentations and 15 minutes for QnA.

Please note: Presenters who are BASIC Members will be asked to contribute 50% of the Registration fee whereas the Registration Fee for BRONZE Members will be waived.

The above registration fees do not include accomodation/travel to and from Bologna.
