Winter School on Teaching Practical Legal English Skills for the Classroom and Online
Are you passionate about teaching Legal English? Do you have innovative ideas, strategies, or experiences to share about developing practical Legal English skills for students or professionals?
ILETA is excited to announce a Call for Papers for the upcoming Winter School 2025. The theme is Teaching Practical Legal English Skills for the Classroom and Online
📝 Suggested Topics may Include:
– Innovative Teaching Methods: Techniques to engage learners in mastering Legal English.
– Online Learning: Adapting Legal English teaching for virtual classrooms.
– Practical Applications: How to teach drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills in Legal English.
– Assessment Strategies: Evaluating student performance in Legal English courses.
– Technological Tools: Leveraging AI, apps, and other tools to teach Legal English effectively.
– Cultural and Linguistic Challenges: Addressing barriers in teaching Legal English to international students.
– Case Studies: Sharing success stories or lessons learned in teaching Legal English.
📅 Important Dates:
– Submission Deadline: January 15, 2025
– Notification of Acceptance: January 20, 2025
– Winter School Dates: 9 March 2025
📍 Who Should Submit?
This Winter School welcomes submissions from:
- Legal English instructors and trainers

- EdTech developers specializing in legal education
✏️ Submission Guidelines:
– Abstracts should be no more than 200 words.
– Include a brief bio (150 words max) with your submission.
– Papers should focus on practical, actionable insights relevant to the theme.
