Sofia Parastatidou-BIOGRAPHY
Sofia Parastatidou started teaching Legal English in 1994 when she moved to Italy. She is a practising solicitor admitted in the High Court of Australia where she was appointed Special Counsel in Trade and Transport and is a practising solicitor of the England and Wales. She has more than 34 years experience as a lawyer.
She is the President of ILETA which she founded with the view of establishing training for Legal English Practitioners. She is based in Italy where she trains lawyers, accountants and notaries and teaches law and soft skills to university students through ELSA organisations. She is also actively involved in teaching post graduate and masters courses and often collaborates with Bar Associations and training centres. She is the author of Legal English published by Pearson in 2021.
