Session 1
‘Tried and Tested Five Minute Warm Up Activities – leading students to fluency’
Presenter: Agnieszka Chojecka
Did you know that the first minutes of your lesson set the tone for the whole meeting? Why not take full advantage of these precious moments and create an environment most conducive to learning?The main themes of the densely-packed 40 minutes revolve around:

- how to become a resourceful teacher; make your job easier and always have oral exercises ready for use.
- how to adjust activities to energize your online or offline class; tasks suitable for any level, group or one-to-one work.
- how to systematically activate and work on students’ speaking skills
All the above will be illustrated with plenty of tried and tested tasks to choose from, get inspired by and develop further. Join the session and share more tips from your own teaching practice. Agnieszka is the founder of the Legal English Centre (Poland); an ILETA Country Ambassador for Poland and a member of the ILETA Scientific Committee.
Session 2
A “GAME” Changer
Presenter: Tonya Teichert RN, BSN, LNC, MBA, CELTA
Do you struggle to find engaging ways to motivate your students?
It can be a challenge to entertain AND educate, but it’s possible!
You can invigorate your lessons with activities that the students enjoy while learning new language concepts.
Using games in your lessons can seem overwhelming but once you know what you want to focus on, there are so many alternatives you can use.
From basic card games to customized board games, even just with dice you can find imaginative ways to liven up a lesson.
Gain some insight on how to use games to teach complex language and have fun doing it. So, let’s get creative and have fun!

“From Passive to Active: Putting Communication First in the Flipped Classroom”
Presenter: Jasmina Barisic
Jasmina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature and is an official court translator and interpreter for the English Language.
Jasmina is the founder of the Speak Easy Foreign Language Center, which had been successfully preparing participants for various types of internationally recognised certificates for 20 years. Jasmina is also a holder of the CELTA certificate, specialising in the methodology of teaching foreign languages. Jasmina is the ILETA Country Ambassador for Serbia and a member of the ILETA Scientific Committee.

“The Art of Legal Storytelling: A Creative Approach to Teaching Legal & Business English”
Presenter: Sofia Parastatidou
